Prayers

Dear Lord of love, our hearts we raise,
To live for You in joyful praise.
Through Carlo's light, we seek Your way,
To walk with Christ both night and day.
Christ Adored in every heart,
Revered through faith that won’t depart.
Loved in word and deed we show,
Obeyed in all the paths we go.
Like St. Carlo, pure of soul,
Make sainthood our daily goal.
Guide our group with Heaven’s fire,
To lift the youth, to love inspire.
Until we meet You face to face,
Keep us faithful in Your grace.
Make us warriors who fight for Truth,
Together strong, we are C.A.R.L.O youth!

Oh God, Our Father, thank You for giving us Carlo, a model of life for young people, and a message of love for all. You made him fall in love with Your Son Jesus, making the Eucharist his “highway to heaven.” You gave him Mary, as a beloved Mother, and, with the Rosary, You made him sing the praises of her tenderness. Accept his prayer for us. Attend especially to the poor, whom he loved and assisted. Through his intercession, may I too receive the graces as St. Carlo did to fall in Love with Your Son in the Eucharist. May Carlo's smile shine in Your Kingdom as it did for us, to emanate the glory of Your Holy Name. Amen.

Angel of God, my guardian dear,
to whom God’s love commits me here,
ever this day be at my side,
to light and guard, to rule and guide.

Amen.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful
and kindle in them the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created,
and you shall renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray.
O God, who have taught the hearts of the faithful
by the light of the Holy Spirit,
grant that in the same Spirit we may be truly wise
and ever rejoice in his consolation.
